The Medical Group's founder, Joya Schoen, M.D. is a 1966 graduate of Loma Linda University School of Medicine. She specialized in Psychiatry prior to qualifying in Homeopathic Medicine, then gained proficiency in Chelation Therapy from the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM). She most recently trained in European Biological Medicine through the Biological Medicine Network, affiliated with Paracelsus Klinik, Thomas Rau, M.D., Medical Director, of Lustmuhle, Switzerland, receiving her certificate upon completion of training.

Dr. Schoen has over 26 years experience in complementary and alternative medicine. She and her talented staff of trained professionals work together to evaluate and treat patients who have a wide variety of medical complaints as well as those who simply wish to optimize their health. Advanced biochemical, biological and electrodermal testing is available.

She and her staff empower patients in uncovering the causes of disease and discovering how to reach their health goals through participating in the lifestyle choices that create the healing milieu necessary for the body to heal itself.
